Rouge @ Red Lounge

Red. Simply Red.

The colour of love, the colour of blood and a wide selection of drinks. Which is what brings us to this wonderful, wonderful place. Every now and then we tire of designer white walls and blue lights. And when a little colour comes knocking on the door, we are more than happy to join the party.

Potent DJs, great drinks and our favourite Gasoline Crew is trying out a new concept. And to be quite honest — we like.

A closer look at what's inside the most fashionable red light district we have yet to come across in this city... after the JUMP!!!

BUKKAKE RIOT! @ Punto G (Gasoline)

As terribly nasty as the name sounds, and as awful the story behind it is, the Bukkake Riot feat. TILT! was a delicious success. Whipped cream and condensed milk! Amazing for those who skipped dessert. Or dinner for that matter.
Watch the results of Camikaze's Bukkake destruction by Japi, Ale, and Stella after the JUMP!

Vogue Ambition

Time had come to try something new, and on that Friday it was decided that Stranazione should cover Vogue Ambition.

The location being in culo alla luna (again, far away from everything), you'd expect it to be either empty or a bit shady... but we have to tell you, that's not the case!

The music ranges from 70's to 90's, with random shots of Lady Gaga and other contemporary divas (yes, creds for putting Kylie on!).

What surprised the most, however, was not the music selection, but the astonishing amount of gorgeous (droool) people.

Of course, when Miss Sabry is present, how can the joint not be stacked with yummy dummies?

THE BLISTERS BOYZ- 747 to Paris @ Plastic

As you all might have figured, they are our favourite band. And we advice all of you to check out their block rockin' beatsHERE!

For the first ever concert, the Blisters Boyz were booked at Plastic, Milan's oldest and chic-est nightlub. As part of the 747 Project, this night was dedicated to Paris. We definitively felt the decadence (until Jack Daniel's started playing some kind of bohemian rhapsody in our heads).

And remember - BE SEXY C'EST FRANCAIS!!!

This video might be slightly embarrasing for our dear Casanova... please notice how his accent changes after several hours of "hard work"...
And take a look at the rest AFTER THE JUMP!!!

You in Wonderland @ Gasoline

Poor Alice. She must have been quite puzzled by the wonders of that wicked rabbit hole. But if you think about it, her life was rather boring before she went down there. And besides, they wore fabulous hats down there, didn't they?

OFF WITH HER HEAD....

Vorspiel w/the Blisters Boyz

As you all know, the Blisters Boyz is our favourite band. And when we say favourite, you know we mean FAB and MARV at the same time. In fact, they top TOP!

Before their first gig in Milan, we made a little afterparty at Casa Casanova (aka Steffen's Place).

Take a peek after the jump.
Yours truly,
Camikaze e Casanova.

Cardi Black Box — Jörg Immendorff - Late Paintings

In midst of the twirl of pretty colors and drama, fashion week has stood quite still for a moment in this quiet little town.
The opening of Jörg Immendorff's last works at Cardi Black Box was a complete success. The variety and the quality of the people was exquisite and exciting, and Grey Goose was on everyone's tongue.

According to the pretty, pretty leaflet, the late works of Immendorff contain an evident critique to the collectivity balanced by the individual's desire for change but — if before his vision was influenced by ideology and by his concrete experience of reality — now it appears as the consequence of an inner gaze, that of a man looking at life through a different, renewed consciusness.

We don't know what whoever wrote this was smoking, but we tend to agree. There's a clear contrast between classical figures and out-of-focus contemparory elements.

Take a peak...

Fresh in from America

We all seem to think that Ivy League is completely serious and boring, but guess what just came in from Princeton at 7AM local time...

Paris fashion week – CHANGE YOUR COLLECTIONS! FAST!

Sorry for the bad resolution, but isn't this top, fab and marv at the same time?

NEON DISCO - CRYSTAL PALACE

Neon Disco is Milan's monthly invitation-only Raver's event. This time the party was rocking in the ever-so-fashionable Tortona quarter of Milan.

Every month it switches location and maps and invitations are sent only through something as old-fashioned as e-mail. Shhh... secret!

Young people, high people, beautiful people, people in animal costumes and kick-ass DJs...

... we suggest you take a peek – after the JUMP!!!

SALDI @ GASOLINE!!!

Right before fashion week, Milan has been (and still is) in an uproar with all the sales.

Pay two drinks, and we'll give you the third.

You need to have that third whiskey. Especially before Friday morning's credit card bill gets to your front door....

Take a peek!

You can always dress up in a plastic bag when your closet is in the laundry.

I don't think I've seen a BIG HUG like that since the Teletubbies...

Ingrid's New Year Tale

Time goes by so slowly, as mentioned before. But then you find yourself in a house with a piano and you're all dressed up. The temperature is not only low, but below a certain zero, and by quite a bit. And all you have to keep you warm is whiskey... darling, it's time to celebrate the end of a decade and...

... that's pretty...

Claudio the Chef.

Another beloved subject of this blog, the mysterious Claudio-Jean. Stopping over in Milan for one night before heading to Barcelona, he cooked me a meal. I think I am becoming old, but his food was really good. Like, really good. And it does help when you chug some good wine and beer on the side.

Bon apetìt.

Claudio the Gangstah.

Food (oh my God, this writer's block is killing me.

If you look closely, you can spot his room mate. Guess which one it is?

Koskenkorva - Tasty Nail Polish

Vodka. It's really good. Finnish vodka is even better. It tastes like nail polish, but it goes down like nothing else. Cheers.

The small print:
How to learn Finnish. Simply choose Koskenkorva Genuine Finnish vodka and pour a glass or two - how you drink it is up to you. You may never comprehend the distinctive, quirky Finnish personality, but you will enjoy the integrity of a straight-talking, smooth, reliable vodka.

Vodka - now also straight-talking and smooth. As for reliable, I'll be the judge.

Cat?!

Having finally watched Breakfast at Tiffany's... and falling in love with Cat. Here's one of mine drinking from the sink. One day I hope to get one of him drinking from the toilet. Oh my God, I need to find something interesting soon...

Halloween - THRILLER! @ SPAZIO MEDINA

Most people were elsewhere this night. But that's probably because "most people" refers to boring people who were not in Milan this Halloween. Forget New York, forget Hollywood. Halloween has conquered Milan, and Milan has conquered Halloween!

A real treat... after the JUMP!

LA STRYXIA and her HALO.

At Plastic, you simply cannot avoid seeing the fabulous La Stryxia if you enter the House of Bordello (and you definitively should if you're there). My lens was a little bit foggy, but sometimes that's just what you need...

...to realize that...

...Jesus just came back!

Tiago goes away party

Tiago is going away! Yay! Not that we hate him (we don't), but it leaves you with certain freedoms. Like inviting all your friends on facebook (we are talking hundreds, not to brag... thousand). We don't even know how many came... but rumours speak of an ambulance and a neighbour with a gun.

We don't know - we don't care! It was fun, fun, fun! Fun! Camikaze knows how to throw a party. And if you weren't there - you were square!

The recipe for a perfect PARTAY is two days, a lot of chips and a lot of people. You don't need music, you don't need decorations. You just need chips and people. And you have to be Camikaze. And we're talking sword-through-your-guts style.

See for yourself!

Praise the Camikaze.

Eat the chips.

Invite a midget (see middle).

Fill up with Lithuanian blondes with ginourmous jugs.

A Romanian with a Gun.

Let the fabulous polentona drink.

Mix nationalities and let them drink. Peace guaranteed. Here we have an Italian, a Parisienne and a Viennese Marilyn Monroe.

Don't feed the... this guy.

Everyone has a "best angle".

Winnie the Pooh and Clement from The Blisters Boyz

Perfect escape route. Jump!

The day after we cleaned up in less than half an hour. Amazing what trashbags can do nowadays.
