You are a shining light!

Elin comes from the Greek Helena which means LIGHT or TO SHINE.
Elin comes from Sweden. And when she goes out the environment seems to somehow light up.

Happy Birthday!

Anonymous Brazilian Model

When Camikaze so kindly asked me to shoot some pictures of her friend, whose name is Anonymous Brazilian Model, I gladly said yes and we tried out some stuff in Viale Toscana and the rest of my shady neighbourhood. Yes, we do photos.

... turns out photoshopping is not my forte, but at least it was a learning experience. More pictures after the jump!

Improvising meant using some of my clothes as well. And I sure do hate it when people look that much better than me in them. I guess that's why they're models.

Oh, shit! Battery?

How happy was I when the most darling Edoardo gave me his invite to go see Enrico Coveri this last Milan Fashion Week.

To be honest, the show was kind of Las-Vegas-meets-Russian-high-class-brothel, that is, style-wise. But it was very entertaining, they even had rappers and the runway was sprinkled in gold dust. Gold dust!

I even had good seats, I was there on time, I even took a f*ck*ng taxi to get there. Perfect, right?

Well, if you look at the photos, you'll notice that they're not exactly the usual quality. That's because I forgot my battery at home. Yes, at home.

Oh well, there will always be a next fashion week. People will always need new clothes.

This Thursday's Popstarz @ Santa Tecla

THIS THURSDAY WE'LL BE DOING BARBIE-TURATES.

DRESS ALL BARBIE & KEN, HAVE SOME SURGERY AND BLOW YOUR HEADS UP.

SEE YOU THERE, FOR INFO CLICK HERE!

Popstarz Re-Opening @ Santa Tecla — Priests and Nuns

Do you see that smile? That's the smile of a naughty, naughty priest. A priest that is super happy POPSTARZ moved to SANTA TECLA. After all, it's closer to the church!

The legendary Gasoline Crew has now packed their bags from good old Punto G and settled for realz at Santa Tecla, a pass from Il Duomo. And considering our closest neighbours include one of the World's most famous cathedrals and a bunch of other religious buildings, what better way to celebrate the opening than throwing a theme party for PRIESTS & NUNS?!

We had a lot to do throughout the night, so we would like to thank Luca for helping us by snapping a good deal of great pictures. We hope we'll see you all at Santa Tecla in the future!

Take a closer look AFTER THE JUMP!!!

Alexander's Bye-Bye Party

A young, aspiring, talented and handsome Norwegian photographer came to the city of smog and fashion to have a look at job opportunities, Italian culture and cuisine and whatever else you can come look for in Milan. I kind of promised him I'd introduce him to a couple of people.

He came in search of something to live for. He went back with a massive hangover. As for the rest, I guess all we can say is 2B CONTINUED because... HE'S COMING BACK IN APRIL!!!

This time we take a close look at his goodbye party.

After a week of partying EVERY DAY, we decided to make a quiet night with pizza. Suddenly Diana and Elin were there, and suddenly Sanna showed up, and if I think real long and hard I mean to remember that someone else arrived in the night, but I'm not sure because of obvious reasons.

The picture above perfectly illustrates the concept of a quiet night. More of the sort after the JUMP!!!

Happiness Insane Party ft ROZZO CRIÙ @ Punto G

Happiness. Insanity. Somehow we manage to incorporate them into our daily lives. They just seem to fit perfectly hand-in-hand. Those of you who know us know it's true.

However, if you know the Gasoline Crew you know that someone knows how to take it all to the MAX!

With performances by Da Rozzo Criù, the place got rocked to its core and the mood was around a 110% for all the people.

More pictures of Da Rozzo Criù...

... and other insanities AFTER THE JUMP!!!

Scream Queens @ Punto G

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH ! ! !

Every now and then we have nice days and every now and then... we seem to be living a horror story. A Scream Queen probably lives the latter everyday, and she does so with impeccable style.

A girl must know how to scream. A boy must know how not to scream. Not only do we scream out of horror, but also for sadness, desperation and joy. Screaming is always fashionable (along with a few other random things that you probably take for granted (don't worry, we'll tell you all about them in the future)).

Anywho... if you took the trip to Gasoline last week, you definitively got the theme. Horror movie screening over amazing music and girls dressed up in babydolls... darlings, it's fab and marv at the same time.

Give us your best SCREAM!!! ... after the JUMP!

Vogue Ambition

Time had come to try something new, and on that Friday it was decided that Stranazione should cover Vogue Ambition.

The location being in culo alla luna (again, far away from everything), you'd expect it to be either empty or a bit shady... but we have to tell you, that's not the case!

The music ranges from 70's to 90's, with random shots of Lady Gaga and other contemporary divas (yes, creds for putting Kylie on!).

What surprised the most, however, was not the music selection, but the astonishing amount of gorgeous (droool) people.

Of course, when Miss Sabry is present, how can the joint not be stacked with yummy dummies?

More sweets... after the JUMP!

After Party w/The Blisters Boyz

And then there was the after party... I think you need to take a jump for this...

And you do that right here!

You in Wonderland @ Gasoline

Poor Alice. She must have been quite puzzled by the wonders of that wicked rabbit hole. But if you think about it, her life was rather boring before she went down there. And besides, they wore fabulous hats down there, didn't they?

OFF WITH HER HEAD....

After the JUMP!

Vorspiel w/the Blisters Boyz

As you all know, the Blisters Boyz is our favourite band. And when we say favourite, you know we mean FAB and MARV at the same time. In fact, they top TOP!

Before their first gig in Milan, we made a little afterparty at Casa Casanova (aka Steffen's Place).

Take a peek after the jump.
Yours truly,
Camikaze e Casanova.

NEON DISCO - CRYSTAL PALACE

Neon Disco is Milan's monthly invitation-only Raver's event. This time the party was rocking in the ever-so-fashionable Tortona quarter of Milan.

Every month it switches location and maps and invitations are sent only through something as old-fashioned as e-mail. Shhh... secret!

Young people, high people, beautiful people, people in animal costumes and kick-ass DJs...

... we suggest you take a peek – after the JUMP!!!

SALDI @ GASOLINE!!!

Right before fashion week, Milan has been (and still is) in an uproar with all the sales.

Pay two drinks, and we'll give you the third.

You need to have that third whiskey. Especially before Friday morning's credit card bill gets to your front door....

Take a peek!

You can always dress up in a plastic bag when your closet is in the laundry.

I don't think I've seen a BIG HUG like that since the Teletubbies...

After the JUMPPPP!

Buongiorno Amy

Every now and then I get a little excited... but then there are those greyish days where only Amy can properly capture your mood as you drink your coffee with the wrong kind of sugar, eat your toast with the wrong kind of marmelade and realize you got up to late.

Thank Heaven for cigarettes. And for Amy Winehouse.

Welcome to the 10's!

Time goes by... so slowly, as Madonna said to the beat of ABBA's "Gimme, Gimme, Gimme". And then you realize yet another decade passed you by.

Financial Crisis. War on Terror. iPhone. Hybrid Cars. Britney's Babies. Madonna's New Boyfriend. Kylie's French Lover. Cameron Diaz is getting old. Demi Moore turned pedophile. And by the end of the next decade even Ashton Kutcher will be ancient.

Time goes by so slowly, yet passes so incredibly fast. The World in the 2000's seemed to forget about time, and now we are reminded again by the big 1 in front of the lonely 0.

The passing of a decade doesn't make you feel old, but it's as if history is growing up. And suddenly we feel the urge to catch up. Nostalgia happens at the end of every decade. Usually through introducing "Best of the **'s" CDs. Suddenly everything's a classic. I imagine we'll hear a good deal of Lady Gaga on the "Best of the 10's" CDs... if there will even be CDs in 2020.

Music is what brings me to the conclusion of this post. Because nothing defines a time so much as the music we listened to. A particular moment I remember, was when I watched Vampire Weekend at the Hove Festival the summer of 2008. That was the summer before I moved to Milan, and Walcott was the song that caught my heart. In fact, it had already caught it for some time, ever since I heard what was then an unrecognisable new sound with a profound message.

The reason I am posting this song is because unlike Billboard Magazine, I don't think Nickelback is the best band of the decade. I guess you can imagine who deserve it more.

XMAS MARKET PARTY @ Gasoline

And with that, Christmas is definitively here. Brought to you by Ale the Christmas Tree.

This last Thursday before Christmas, the Gasoline Crew decided to do things a little bit different. Instead of the usual Party-Party-Party-All-The-Time, they arranged a fundraiser for Ospedale dei Bambini - OBM. You can find their website here if you want to make an effort as well.

Those who came with a toy and dropped it into Santa's huge sack, got in for free. The toys were then donated to be gifts to those less fortunate. By the end of the night, the sack was packed, so we'd like to send a big thank you to everyone!

Vamp! @ Gasoline

Vampires. Vamp. Bats. Blood.

We all dream about eternal youth, and that's what Gasoline had to offer this night. Bloody Mary's and tasty necklines were there at our disposal.

Take a bite after the jump!

Rubik's Cube @ Gasoline

Rubik's Cube, invented in 1974 by a Hungarian Sculptor. Bla bla bla. Rubik's cube party after the jump!

Party Monster DAY HOSPITAL @ GASOLINE!

As you all know, each one of us needs some rehab time. Why not go to Gasoline's Day Hospital for your little pick-me-up's?
The bar tenders/nurse-men are very helpful at handing you over magic pills and drinks that will totally send you over the edge. Take a peek...
